Very easy scones, very good when you don’t want the sweet ones. I made them not for the first time, but every time I make them, I hear a lot of compliments from my family.

(Serves 6)

1 glass corn groats

2-3 eggs

100 g cheese

2-3 tablespoons strach

1-2 tablespoons all purpose flour

1 garkic clove

tomato sauce

salt

oil for frying

Cook corn groats in the salted water. Cool a little bit, then mix in eggs, flour, starch and very finely chopped garlic clove. The dough should be like for pancakes. Cut cheese into thin squares. Heat a little bit of oil in the pan. Put scones dough with tablespoon into the hot oil. When the one side is done, turn scones and put cheese squares on every scone. Cover the pan with lid and wait till the cheese melts. Serve with tomato sauce.
