Sardine pâté

The tastiest pâté for my family. After I prepare this pâté, the others became not suitable for us :) I think this is becaus of lemon given freshness. Just don’t put lemon juice too much. We lowered the amount of them, and we can’t get enough of this.

(8 servings)

2 x 125 g cans of sardine in oil, drained

125 g butter, room temperature

125 g not fat cream cheese

3 tbsps. lemon juice (for us 1 tbsp. is enough)

black pepper

salt

In a blender mix sardine, butter, cheese and lemon juice, till the solid mixture. Season with peppers and salt. Put mixture to the dish, flatten the top. Cover and refrigerate not less then 30 minutes. Serve cold, garnished with parsleys and slice of lemon.

At last this hear I grew some rhubarbs. And baked this muffins in June, but they appear on my blog only now. Sorry :) These muffins are soft and I recommendto bake them in paper forms. I sprinkled some with cinnamon mixture, some didn’t. My hubby decided that with cinnamon is better. And I, cinnamon lover, can’t agree with him :)

200 g rhubarbs, chopped

150 ml walnuts, chopped

600 ml flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

Sprinkling:

100 ml sugar

1,5 tsp. cinnamon

In a bowl mix sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla sugar. Mix in sour milk, rhubarbs and walnuts. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder and baking soda. Dry ingredients mix in to the sour milk mixture. Devide dough to muffin forms, lined with paper forms. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake in 200°C preheated oven about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Brinza bake

When I saw brinza in a store, I bought it without thinking. But it rested in a fridge for a while. Then I searched my recipe archive and found one recipe with this cheese. So I prepared this dish the same day. My hubby liked it, even a lot :) Children ate a lot too, so I think they liked it too. The taste reminded us stewed curd lasybones, which we like the same as marmots :) The next day I sliced left overs and fried with a little bit butter in a pan. Kids liked it too. So I think this recipe has full right to be in my blog :)

(4-5 servings)

250 g brinza

250 g sourmilk or buttermilk

250 g flour

2 eggs

2 tbsps. butter, melted

pinch of salt

Put brinza and sourmilk in bender and blend till solid mixture. Add eggs, flour and salt. Mix well. Pour mixture to the baking dish, lined with baking paper. Bake in preheated till 180°C oven till bake top nicely browns. For me it took about an hour. Enjoy!
