After so long it’s so good to come back here 🙂 I thought almost every day to add some new recipes here but other home tasks had higher priority. So… Everything has to be done.

But, my son decided to make the cake for my birthday and this cake had to be made only by his hands. So, I started to look for easy and quick recipe that every kid could make it.

This cake was the perfect choice, because it was VERY DELICIOUS! It was prepared very quickly and my son was able to make everything by his own. It has only one minus – need to wait till the next day to enjoy..

Next time? I would make more cream and spread some on jam layer, because there biscuits were not so moist.

Chocolate biscuit and sour cream cake

Time needed:
Yields: 9 servings
Calories: 344 kcal / serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (180 g each) chocolate square biscuits
  • 400 g sour cream, 30% fat
  • 2 tbsps. sugar
  • about 100 g jam

Directions:

  • On a plate or tray lay biscuits 3×3.
  • In a bowl mix sour cream with sugar.
  • One third of sour cream spread on biscuits on a plate.
  • Put second layer of biscuits.
  • Spread this layer of jam on biscuits.
  • Put third layer of biscuits.
  • Spread second third of sour cream on biscuits.
  • Put the last layer of biscuits.
  • Spread the last part of cream on top of the cake.
  • Put the cake in a refrigerator and let soak biscuits with a cream.
  • The next day decorate the cake with fresh berries, grated chocolate or other add-ons.
  • Enjoy!
